ARTWORK
I am very excited to share this nature inspired collection with you.
This is a dream come true for me. Combining natural ingredients to my paintings is very pleasing and fulfilling. Nature inspires me, makes me feel all the best emotions and to be able to incorporate this into my paintings and share it with you is such a rewarding feeling.
Several years ago I brought some seashells from my holiday in Croatia. It was lying on the table in the swimming pool room for a long time, and one dark winter evening I started to explore this amazing colour palette that nature painted them. It must have been the longing of summer. I was so inspired that I incorporated it in one of my artworks. That was the start of a new collection.

Zoom in a little further
All my paintings in this collection start from exploring nature and choosing a colour palette.
Acrylic
My favourite paints are acrylic, I spend hours choosing the colours, mixing and preparing them, as it has to be the right consistency. I usually use 12-18 colours for each painting.
Techniques
To get to the final result I use several techniques. Such as acrylic pouring, blowing, painting and finally adding all of natures ingredients to make this artwork unique.
Natural ingredients
Composition of natural details enhances this collection in new unfolded ways.
NO glue technique
I use my own developed NO glue technique to add all the stones, shells, etc.
Glow
To enhance the artwork and make it playful I use several foils and powders. The paintings come to life in a distinct way every time of the day.
Vanishing
For protection all the paintings are covered with a professional vanish. It protects the surface from sunlight, UV's and dust.
I am very proud to introduce you to a new series of textured landscape paintings.
I was playing with different types of modeling pastes to create unique shapes and textures, using various tools such as paper, plastic foil and a pallet knife until I finally developed this technique. I let the curves and swirls of texture dictate the landscape and then day by day I applied acrylic paint layer-by-layer creating the depth within the painting. To reveal all the hidden layers I gently rinse the painting. Last but not least I add the final touches to my artwork.
